Summary
Humans have reproduced for nearly a million years now, and only the last 4,000 years are meaningful.
Only in the last two hundred years have they been absent. Where did those living stones, people with bird heads, beings we call ‘gods’, ‘devils’ and ‘yokai’ ‘ghosts’ go? How did we win the world from them, and are they ready to fight back in the dark?
In short, their numbers are decreasing and ours are increasing. When we fear fewer and fewer things, we begin to look at the world more rationally. However, the inexplicable did not disappear, as if the universe was deliberately trying to appear absurd and inconceivable.
Humanity can no longer live in fear. Nothing can protect us, we must protect ourselves.
While others live in the sun, we must fight them in the shadows and keep them out of the public eye so that others can live in a sane, ordinary world.
